LATRICE V. HARRISON, CO-OWNER/CREATIVE DIRECTOR

Affectionately referred to as “the word wizard,” LaTrice Harrison was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. She has served as a writer in various capacities throughout her marketing and development career and in her personal life. Her profound storytelling abilities were first discovered by her mother, Dollie Childs, at a very young age. 

Known as a leader, trailblazer, visionary, and philanthropist, LaTrice Harrison is a graduate of Cooley High School in Detroit. She later earned her Bachelor of Arts degree (BA) in Journalism from Olivet College. Her journey then led to various corporate leadership roles in her field of study. She later expanded upon her love for giving back to the community transitioning to work in the non-profit sector. Serving as Vice President of Marketing and Development for a 100+ year agency in her beloved hometown, LaTrice utilized her vast experience to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for programs that helped underserved communities.

LaTrice has received numerous awards for her work including the Women of Excellence Award from the Michigan Chronicle, Spirit of Detroit Award from the City of Detroit, and a national nomination from the NAACP for the Hometown Hero Award.

LaTrice Harrison is also the author of “We Can No Longer Be Friends Because of the Color of My Skin,” sold on Amazon.  Although fiction, this book is based on real life circumstances experienced by her son. The book was written to helps pre-teens understand and cope with social injustice and unrest.

Darrell Harrison brings more than 30 years of business and finance experience to Harrison Affect. Known for his ability to navigate clients through the strategic development process with ease, Harrison is sought out for his unique approach and power plays to ensure organizational objectives are met.

By analyzing current and past financial data and providing strategies to cut costs and increase revenue, Harrison is able to lead the charge on market research plans to identify new opportunities.
